Mr. Ingardia founded Systems Management Consultants (SMC) to provide consulting services to the engineering and architectural industry on the impact of technology on design professionals. SMC provides consulting services on financial and project accounting systems, electronic deliverables, the federal acquisition regulations (FAR), managing project scope creep, and the impact of technology on professional liability.

Mr. Ingardia conducts technology peer reviews for engineering and architectural design firms. These peer reviews evaluate the technology operations that support the project manager, help the project manager to better estimate project budgets, better handle electronic deliverables, and make better use of accounting systems to control project scope creep.

SMC consultants conduct seminars for engineering and architectural project managers of design firms on project budgets, project scope creep, federal acquisition regulations (FAR), the use of project accounting software and other enterprise systems, project-related use of e-mail, and the professional liability associated with electronic deliverables.
